Midland Toyota COVID-19 Update

The well-being of our customers, people and the wider community is paramount, particularly in the evolving COVID-19 environment.

We want you to know that Midland Toyota is open for SERVICE & PARTS and that we are prepared and ready to assist. 

In light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, we are following the advice provided by the relevant Government Health Departments and taking precautionary measures to minimise risk to our customers and employees.

We wanted to share with you the measures we have taken to ensure the safety of our customers and employees:

Social Distancing:


Our team is strictly adhering to the recommended 1.5 metre social distancing rule, we request that when you do visit the dealership you too maintain the recommended distance.

Where distancing is not possible on test drives we will make arrangements for unaccompanied test drive.


Masks:

Our team will be wearing masks whilst at work. As directed by the Government all guests are requested to wear a mask when coming into the dealership for Servicing & Parts.


Safe WA Register:

When visiting Midland Toyota guests are required to sign in using the Safe WA app or signing into our manual register.


Sanitisation:

All showroom and customer reception and waiting areas have been set up with hand sanitiser stations, which we would encourage you to use.

Our dealership and service locations are being commercially cleaned every day by an external party. We are also maintaining an internal cleaning roster throughout the day in all customer areas and employee workstations and encouraging our staff to wash their hands regularly.

We are applying an authorised sanitising solution to clean your vehicle upon entry and after all service and repairs have been completed. Cars are also cleaned with the solution after every test drive.


Online & No Contact Options:

Online Car Purchase – Our easy Click & Collect service allows you to purchase a New Toyota without needing to visit the dealership. Interested in one of our pre-owned vehicles simply choose the vehicle from our extensive range and contact us via the form and our team will make the arrangements for a contactless test drive.

Service Bookings – You can now make your service bookings online via the online booking option on our webpage or through the MyToyota App.

Parts & Accessories – If you require a part or accessory ordered our team can assist via our online enquiry form or over the phone on 9464 1000.


To help protect yourself and others, we kindly ask that you adhere to the Government Department of Health advice and guidelines. If you have an upcoming appointment with us and are showing flu-like symptoms, please contact our team via phone on 9464 1000 so that we can reschedule it for you. We trust these actions will demonstrate that we are committed to providing our employees and customers with a safe and hygienic environment, without harming our high standards of customer service. We will continue to take advice from the Department of Health to make sure we are taking all necessary steps to ensure ongoing safety.

Test Drive from Home

We understand that you may not be able to visit our dealership during this time. Rest assured, we have you covered with our Test Drive From Home service.

Midland Toyota now offers a simple process where you can select a vehicle from our extensive range of New Toyota Vehicles as well as Demonstrator or Pre Owned Vehicles. We will then arrange for your Test Drive from your home or place of work, by bringing the vehicle to you*.

We'll also ensure the vehicle of your choice has been thoroughly sanitised before and after your drive.

How do I organise a Home Drive?

To book your Home or Work Test Drive, contact the dealership links below. Alternatively, request it via the comments field when you make an online enquiry through new cars or our pre-owned vehicles.

One of our friendly sales team will confirm the time and location with you.

*Terms and conditions apply. Dealership will operate this service in a reasonable radius from their location. Service is available during Business Days from 9.00am – 6.00pm Monday to Friday and 9.00am until 1.00pm on Saturdays. Times outside these will be negotiated at the time of booking. If the vehicle of your choice is not available, the same make and model will be used for the initial test drive. All applicants must be over 21 years of age and possess a current full Driving Licence. An excess of $1,000 applies in the event of an accident however by electing to pay $50 you are only liable to pay the excess of $750 in the unlikely event of an accident. A copy of drives licence must be available for Test Drive. We reserve the right to withdraw this offer at any time. Details correct as of 07/04/20.

Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Reward Offer

Toyota Motor Corporation Australia Limited (Toyota) is offering rewards to past Toyota Certified Pre-Owned (TCPO) guests from 2016 – 2018 (each a Past TCPO Guest), who purchase a TCPO or new Toyota vehicle, subject to these Terms and Conditions. The reward will be an eftpos® Prepaid Gift Card for either $500 or $1,500 (Reward Card) depending on the Past TCPO Guest’s eligibility.

Campaign Offer/ Reward Period

Rewards are available for eligible Past TCPO Guests who purchase a TCPO or new Toyota vehicle between the 1st September 2021 and the 30th November 2021. 

Reward details

Past TCPO Guests that purchase a TCPO vehicle or new Toyota vehicle - without a trade-in - will receive a $500 eftpos® Prepaid Gift Card.
Past TCPO Guests that purchase either a TCPO vehicle or a new Toyota vehicle - and trade-in their current TCPO vehicle - will receive a $1,500 eftpos® Prepaid Gift Card.
The maximum claimable reward per Past TCPO Guest is $1,500.
This offer is subject to these T&Cs and the Reward Card is subject to the T&Cs imposed by the Reward Card Supplier (please see below).

Eligibility for the Offer

This offer is available to TCPO Guests who:

  • purchased a TCPO vehicle between the 1st January 2016 and the 31st December 2018;
  • receive an eDM from an authorised Toyota Dealer;
  • provide details to the Toyota Dealer to ensure that Toyota systems can verify the Past TCPO Guest, and whose details provided during their new purchase match their existing/last purchase record (an exact match is required for the Past TCPO Guest’s first and last name) and match either an address or mobile number;
  • complete the purchase of a TCPO or new Toyota vehicle (Private or Bronze Fleet) between the 1st September 2021 and the 30th November 2021; and
  • ensure that:
    • if purchasing a TCPO vehicle, the vehicle is registered or delivered to the Past TCPO Guest on or before the 30th  November 2021;
    • if ordering a new Toyota vehicle that is not in stock, the Past TCPO Guest takes delivery of the vehicle by 30th June 2022; and
    • if trading in a TCPO vehicle, the vehicle being traded-in is the same TCPO vehicle that was purchased by the Past TCPO Guest receiving the eDM (this is a requirement to be eligible for the higher value reward).

How to Redeem the Offer

  1. Eligible Past TCPO Guests will receive an eDM outlining that the offer is available from the authorised Toyota Dealer they last made a purchase from (Dealership).
  2. This offer can only be redeemed from the Toyota Dealership mentioned on the eDM offer.
  3. The Past TCPO Guest must contact the Dealership and arrange to purchase a TCPO or new Toyota vehicle, informing of their interest in the reward offer. The Past TCPO Guest will also have the option to trade-in their current TCPO vehicle to receive an additional $1,000 reward. The offer can only be redeemed from the participating Dealership.
  4. Toyota will send an email confirmation to the Past TCPO Guest 1-2 weeks after Toyota has confirmed eligibility.
  5. A physical eftpos® Prepaid Gift Card will be delivered to the Past TCPO Guest’s nominated address with activation instructions after the delivery of the purchased vehicle. 
  6. As the eftpos® Prepaid Gift Card will be issued to the Past TCPO Guest to their nominated address, the Past TCPO Guest must ensure they have provided accurate address details to the Dealership and update their details if they change.

General Terms and Conditions 

  1. You acknowledge that Toyota is entitled, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, amend, add, or remove any part of the Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
  2. Toyota reserves the right to refuse to provide the Reward to an individual if, in its reasonable opinion, Toyota cannot verify that the individual is eligible to receive the Reward or believes the individual has engaged in fraudulent activity or is otherwise in breach of these Terms.
  3. This offer only applies to Past TCPO Guests that have been targeted by a promotional eDM via a Toyota Dealership.
  4. Toyota will not be liable for any loss (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), damage or personal injury which is suffered or sustained (including without limitation to that caused by any person’s negligence) relating to this promotion or the taking of the Reward, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case liability is limited to the minimum amount allowable by law).
  5. Toyota is not liable for any Reward that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way, once it has been sent by Toyota.
  6. The Reward is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. If the Reward is unavailable for any reason, Toyota reserves the right to substitute another Reward of equal or greater value for that reward, or element of it. Toyota and its representatives will not be liable for any damage to or delay in transit of rewards.
  7. Privacy: Your Toyota Dealer has made this offer available to you because you have consented to them contacting you for marketing purposes. If you choose to take up the offer, your personal information will be shared with Toyota and its contractors for the purpose of providing you with your Reward and running this and similar promotion/s. If you do not agree to allow Toyota and its contractors to handle your personal information for this purpose, Toyota will not be able to provide your Reward. Toyota’s privacy policy at https://www.toyota.com.au/privacy-policy contains information about how you can seek to access or correct personal information it holds about you, how you can make a privacy complaint and how Toyota will deal with a privacy complaint. Eftpos® Prepaid Gift Card - Terms and Conditions

All rewards are subject to the relevant reward supplier’s conditions, including the following conditions which apply to the eftpos® prepaid gift Cards:

  1. eftpos prepaid gift cards are issued by Blackhawk Proprietary Limited ABN 84 123 251 703 (Issuer);
  2. eftpos prepaid gift cards are valid for use at any EFTPOS terminal in Australia (at each merchant’s discretion) and require activation before use;
  3. eftpos prepaid gift cards are valid for 36 months from date of activation. Upon expiration, the gift card will not be available for use and any unused balance will be forfeited. You will not receive notice prior to expiry;
  4. an eftpos prepaid gift card is a physical card that will need to be activated by the Past TCPO Guest. Upon delivery of the card, the Past TCPO Guest will receive instructions relating to the activation process;
  5. Each Reward Card is valid for 3 years from the date of activation and must be activated within 3 months of receipt;
  6. any unused balance on the eftpos gift card will not be redeemed as cash;
  7. eftpos prepaid gift cards are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash;
  8. any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the eftpos prepaid gift card are not included. This may include, for example, any fees charged by merchants for using the card, or currency exchange fees;
  9. the card is like cash and may not be replaced if misused, lost, stolen or damaged; and
  10. redemption of the eftpos prepaid gift cards is subject to any terms and conditions of the Issuer including those specified on the eftpos prepaid Gift Card website located at https://perfecteftposcard.com.au/terms-and-conditions/"
